Dunes 2013
Whle staying in San Diego in February, 2013 I drove to Yuma, Arizona to stay for a few days and hired a pilot to fly over the Imperial Sannd Dunes just as I had done the year before. What was different his time? A new camera with a larger sensor allowing larger prints of higher quality, a more extensive flight that ranged all the way up the expanse of 48 miles of dunes and a morning that started off under cloud cover then broke free into bright sunlight. The prints are 37 inches wide in this series.
